Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has officially launched the much-anticipated honda rebel 500 cruiser motorcycle in India. Priced at ₹5.12 lakh (ex-showroom), this marks the debut of the Rebel series in the Indian market, aiming to attract enthusiasts of retro-modern cruisers.
Retro Styling with a Modern Edge
The honda rebel 500 features a timeless cruiser design inspired by classic aesthetics. The bike sports a low-slung profile with a teardrop-shaped 11.2-litre fuel tank, round LED headlamps and tail lamps, and blacked-out mechanical components. The motorcycle is available in a sleek Matt Gunpowder Black Metallic color, enhancing its rugged charm.
With a seat height of just 690mm, the honda rebel 500 is accessible to a broad range of riders, offering a comfortable and confidence-inspiring riding posture, particularly for those who are new to cruisers or prefer lower saddle heights.

At the heart of the honda rebel 500 lies a 471cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine. It delivers a power output of 46 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 43.3 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm. Braking duties are handled by a 296mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc, both equipped with dual-channel ABS to ensure safety in varied road conditions.

Bookings for the honda rebel 500 are now open exclusively at Honda’s premium BigWing Topline dealerships in Gurugram, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. Customers can also book the motorcycle online through Honda’s official website. Deliveries are expected to begin in June 2025.
