The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the NEET result 2025 for the undergraduate medical entrance exam. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their scorecards on the official websites using their application number and date of birth. Alongside the results, the NTA has also published the final answer key, qualifying cut-off scores, and the list of top scorers across the country.
Credentials Needed for Scorecard Download
To download the NEET result scorecard, students must visit the official NTA NEET website and log in using their application number, date of birth, and the security pin displayed on the portal. Once logged in, they can access their individual score, All India Rank (AIR), percentile, and qualification status. It's recommended to keep a printed copy for future counseling and admission rounds.
Cut-Off Trends This Year
The NEET 2025 cut-off has seen a slight increase compared to last year. For the unreserved category, the qualifying percentile stands at 50th, while it is 40th for SC/ST/OBC candidates. Experts attribute this shift to an increased number of high-performing students and the difficulty level of the exam, which was considered moderate this year.
Toppers List Released
The NEET result also brought with it the names of the national toppers. Several students have secured scores above 700 out of 720, with AIR 1 reportedly scoring 715. This year’s top scorers have hailed from various states, reflecting a broad spectrum of excellence in preparation. Their success stories are expected to inspire future aspirants.
What’s Next After the NEET Result?
Now that the neet result has been announced, the next step for candidates is counseling. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will soon begin the centralized counseling process for All India Quota (AIQ) seats. State-wise counseling will also follow for government and private medical colleges.
Candidates are advised to regularly check the official MCC and state portals for detailed counseling schedules, document verification processes, and seat allotment rounds.
Score Validation and Rechecking
As per NTA guidelines, the NEET result is final and no provision exists for revaluation or rechecking. However, if candidates find discrepancies in personal information on the scorecard, they should immediately contact the NTA for correction through the official helpline or email support.
