The Railway Recruitment Board (rrb) has officially announced the revised schedule for the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) 2025 exam. Along with the updated exam dates, the board has also released the city intimation slip to assist candidates in planning their travel and logistics.
Revised RRB NTPC Exam Dates
The rrb NTPC Stage 1 Computer-Based Test (CBT 1) will now be conducted between June 5 and June 24, 2025, across multiple exam centers nationwide. This exam is aimed at filling more than 11,500 vacancies across various undergraduate and graduate-level positions in the Indian Railways.
The exam will be conducted in multiple shifts per day, following a secure and structured examination process. Candidates are advised to check their exam shift and reporting time on their admit card once released.
City Intimation Slip Now Available
The city intimation slip for rrb NTPC 2025 is now live on the official RRB portal. This slip informs candidates about the city where their examination center is located. It does not reveal the exact center address but helps candidates plan their travel and accommodation in advance.

Admit Card Release from June 1
The admit cards for the rrb NTPC 2025 exam will be available starting June 1, 2025, four days before the commencement of the first exam. The admit card will include detailed information about the exam date, shift timing, reporting time, and the full address of the examination center.
To download the admit card, applicants must log in to their respective regional rrb websites using their registration credentials.
Key Exam Guidelines for Candidates

Candidates must report at the exam venue at least one hour prior to the scheduled time.

A printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo ID (such as Aadhaar, Voter ID, or Passport) is mandatory for entry.

Electronic items such as mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches, and Bluetooth devices are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.

Total Vacancies and Position Details
The rrb NTPC 2025 recruitment process will fill 11,558 vacancies, with 8,113 positions allocated for graduates and 3,445 for undergraduates. The positions include posts like Junior Clerk, Accounts Clerk, Commercial Apprentice, Station Master, and Goods Guard, among others.
